Congratulations to Trevor Greene!

March 4th is a memorable day for many of my fellow 1980s alumni from the University of King's College. Seven years ago today, we lost our friend George Earles, and four years ago our friend Trevor Greene was attacked and severely injured while serving with the Canadian military in Afghanistan.

Since then, Trevor's journey to recovery has been widely documented and praised through media coverage, an award-winning documentary, speeches, honorary degrees and other commendations.

Today's the fourth anniversary of Trevor's injury and his strength and determination to fight are truly something at which to marvel. We can all learn from his courage.

It was just announced that Trevor has been chosen as one of those who will carry the torch in the Paralympic Torch Relay. Quite an honour and well deserved! Congratulations!
