Great article once again, Brian.

The issue about the child and whether to tattle brings up the huge issue of having family, siblings, co-workers etc as "friends" on Facebook.

We tend to compartmentalize our lives somewhat in the real-time world; I don't chill with cocktails with my coworkers, and I don't pub crawl with my kids (ok, I don't pub crawl anyway) but on Facebook all of these disparate people are reading your news feeds and, depending on privacy settings)their friends are checking out your Saturday night debacle too.

I just revisited my settings. I'm more and more separating my personal life from my professional one. Believe it or not, there are some things don't relate to social media.

Thanks for giving me more food for thought.
