Christmas countdown 2010: 16 days to go!

The beloved Christmas song "Silver Bells" first appeared in the Bob Hope movie "The Lemon Drop Kid" in 1951. Here's the scene where it was introduced to the world.

One of my favourite Christmas songs that was presented to the world the same year I was.

I really like this version and find the intro to it hilarious. Especially the pre-social media message when Bob Hope tell William Fraley (Santa & Fred in I Love Lucy) that "to mention money at Christmastime is vulgar. You got to work on their sentiments, be subtle, delicate."
